MOSCOW, April 6. /TASS/. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov refused to comment on reports by Western media outlets about plans to introduce sanctions against the daughters of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Kremlin official noted that nowadays one cannot completely trust information published by foreign news outlets.
"I cannot comment on what has not yet been made public," he explained to journalists on Wednesday.
The spokesman noted that he saw such reports citing the Wall Street Journal. "I cannot comment on what has not been [officially] published, we live in such times when even the reports by such a respected newspaper as the Wall Street Journal cannot be taken as truth at first blush," Putin’s press secretary explained.
