MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/. A man suffered fragmentation wounds in the Ukrainian military’s bombardment of a railway station in a village in the Belgorod Region, Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Tuesday.

"The territory of a railway station in one of the villages in the Belgorod district was shelled with rockets. One person was injured: a man received fragmentation wounds of soft tissues of the lower limbs. He is receiving all the necessary medical assistance," the governor said.

The bombardment damaged the railway contact system and train traffic was suspended, Gladkov said.

"Emergency teams are already eliminating the consequences," he added.
