US businessman suspected of fraud taken into custody in Moscow

The decision of the court has not entered into force and can be appealed

MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Moscow’s Tverskoy District Court ruled that US national David Nosikovsky, the owner of LD Cool LLC, who is suspected of a fraud, should be taken into custody until November 6, a court spokesperson told TASS on Thursday.

"Moscow’s Tverskoy District Court ruled that David Nosikovsky, suspected under Article 159 of the Russian Criminal Code (fraud), should be taken into custody for 26 days, until November 6, 2022," she said.

The court’s ruling has not yet taken effect and can be appealed.

A law enforcement source told TASS that the damage caused by the actions of unidentified defendants in the case amounted to tens of millions of rubles.

According to the company’s website, LD Cool LLC "is an auto repair body shop specializing in full cycle of commercial vehicles repair." The company was founded by David Nosikovsky in November 2018.
