DPR reports Ukrainian attack with Grad rockets on Donetsk

Donetsk and adjacent areas have lately been coming under intense bombardment from Ukrainian forces

DONETSK, June 13. /TASS/. Ukrainian army units have attacked Donetsk using Grad multiple launch rocket systems, the Donetsk People’s Republic’s mission to the Joint Ceasefire Control and Coordination Center reported on Monday.

" [Two districts of] Donetsk came under attack with 10 BM-21 Grad rockets from Ukrainian forces," the mission said on its Telegram channel.

Donetsk and adjacent areas have lately been coming under intense bombardment from Ukrainian forces. On May 30, the city witnessed the heaviest escalation since 2014, when Ukrainian forces used 155 mm artillery guns, US-made M777 howitzers and Smerch rockets to attack residential areas. Casualties were reported.
