MOSCOW, February 16. /TASS/. Russian gas giant Gazprom is dissolving Sibir Energy Limited owned by Gazprom Neft, within its asset-restructuring program.
"The decision on company’s liquidation was made on September 14, 2015 by Sibir Energy board of directors," a representative of Gazprom Neft told TASS on Tuesday, adding that the decision was made after all assets of the group were transferred to the Russian jurisdiction.
Gazprom Neft took full ownership of Sibir Energy Limited in 2011, which was followed by integration of its assets into a structure owned by Gazprom Neft and the group’s corporate restructuring.
Currently, restructuring of assets and corporate structure is over.
