BEIJING, 6 March. /TASS/. The trade and economic cooperation between Russia and China does not have problems long-term, Governor of the Heilongjiang Province Lu Hao told TASS on Friday.
"Last year, the trade and economic cooperation with Russia was developing and improving," he said. "I believe, this cooperation is extremely important as it allows ongoing growth of the trade and economic cooperation between Russia and the Heilongjiang Province."
"It would not be correct to say our relations do not have problems at all. The biggest problem is the exchange rate," he said. "However, those are regular economic problems."

"They are of temporary character and will be settled long-term," said governor of the Chinese province, bordering Russia.
"The lower rouble rate has complicated our export, though we have a favourable opportunity for the import. Russia has many goods, which are competitive in the Chinese market," he said.
Chinese consumers are interested in Russian supplies of flour, milk and beer products due to their European-level quality.
Lu Hao is adamant the Silk Road Economic Belt project "offers an economic corridor for the Russia-China trade and economic cooperation."
