Brent oil price on ICE rises briefly before resuming decline

The price of WTI crude futures for May 2026 delivery was down 1.7% at $99.66 per barrel

MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. The price of Brent crude oil futures contract with June 2026 delivery on the London-based ICE exchange showed a brief increase after a morning decline, according to trading data.

As of 13:06 Moscow time, Brent was up 0.1% at $104.07 per barrel.

By 13:20 Moscow time, Brent resumed its decline and was trading at $103.17 per barrel (-0.77%). At the same time, the price of WTI crude futures for May 2026 delivery was down 1.7% at $99.66 per barrel.

Earlier in the morning, Brent crude was reported to have fallen by more than 5% and was trading below the $99 per barrel mark.
