Russia sends petitions to participate in Nord Stream investigation to three countries

On September 27, operator Nord Stream AG reported that three lines of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 offshore gas pipelines had suffered unprecedented damage

MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. Russia is ready to participate in the Nord Stream investigation, and has sent petitions to three countries, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.

"Relevant petitions and demands were sent to the governments of the countries dealing with this issue: Sweden, Germany, Denmark," he said.

On September 27, operator Nord Stream AG reported that three lines of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 offshore gas pipelines had suffered unprecedented damage. Swedish seismologists later reported that two explosions had been recorded along the Nord Stream pipelines on the previous day. The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office opened a criminal case on charges of international terrorism.
