Mishustin signs order on setting up Zaporozhye NPP Federal State Unitary Enterprise

The Federal Agency for State Property Management is commissioned to adopt the company’s charter and to appoint its director general

MOSCOW, October 8. /TASS/. The Federal State Unitary Enterprise Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) has been established in Russia, with its head office based in Moscow, according to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s decree published on Saturday on the official online registry of legislative information.

"The Federal State Unitary Enterprise Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (Moscow) shall be established based on the right of economic management," the document reads.

The Federal Agency for State Property Management is commissioned to adopt the company’s charter and to appoint its director general, as well as to form its 500,000-ruble authorized fund.

On October 5, President Vladimir Putin ordered in his executive order to accept the Zaporozhye NPP facilities into federal ownership. Putin also commissioned the government to establish a federal state unitary enterprise, Zaporozhye NPP, to ensure safety of the plant’s facilities.
