Russia not to disclose new Arctic energy projects with East — Foreign Ministry

Infrastructure projects in energy in the Arctic region are long-term and, first of all, commercial projects

MOSCOW, October 3. /TASS/. Russia presently will not disclose new details of further cooperation with the East’s countries in the Arctic energy infrastructure projects, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador-at-Large, Chairman of the Arctic Senior Officials at the Arctic Council Nikolay Korchunov said in an interview with TASS on the fringes of the Ecumene 2022: Global Financial Forum.

"Infrastructure projects in energy in the Arctic region are long-term and, first of all, commercial projects," he said. "Their participants result from respective contracts and negotiations, and I would not like to anticipate their course and results."
