MOSCOW, January 25. /TASS/. The number of unemployed in Moscow decreased by 34% in December 2020, according to a statement released on the website of the Moscow Mayor’s office on Monday.
"The number of officially unemployed in Moscow has been going down for a third consecutive month. In the last month of 2020 only, it decreased by more than one third in Moscow - by 34%. Overall, the number of unemployed citizens has dropped two-fold since the beginning of October, which reflects the dynamics of the city’s economic recovery," Deputy Moscow Mayor Vladimir Yefimov was quoted as saying.
As of December 29, Moscow’s official unemployment level equaled 1.3%, down by 1.48 percentage points compared with early November.
