On April 5th, a rehearsal of the Victory Day military parade took place at Alabino range near Moscow. Russia will celebrate Victory Day, marking the 72nd anniversary of the USSR's victory over Nazi Germany with military parade, on May 9.

Among those who took part in the rehearsal were 10000 servicemen, about 100 units of ground military equipment, including T-90A tanks, BTR-82A armored personnel carriers, BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles, Msta-S self-propelled howitzers, BUK-M2 air defense missile systems, Yars intercontinental ballistic missile complex. Models of armored vehicles constructed on the basis of Armata, Kurganets and Bumerang platforms also were presented.
