MOSCOW, October 30. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces tried to land a sabotage and reconnaissance group to penetrate into Energodar, Russian troops destroyed a Ukrainian speedboat, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said on Sunday.

"In addition, one speedboat of the Ukrainian armed forces was destroyed during an attempt to land a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group in the city of Energodar in the Zaporozhye Region," he said.

The Ukrainian armed forces shelled the city of Energodar and the territories adjacent to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant three times over past 24 hours, with a total of 10 shells fired, Konashenkov said.

"Despite the presence of IAEA (The International Atomic Energy Agency - TASS) representatives at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, the Kiev regime continues provocations in order to create a man-made disaster threat. During the day, the Ukrainian armed forces shelled the city of Energodar and the territory adjacent to the plant three times. A total of 10 shells were fired," he said.
