Fifty Russian servicemen returned from Kiev-controlled territory — Defense Ministry

Ministry noted that the servicemen will be transported to Moscow, where they will undergo treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions of the Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW, 29 October. /TASS/. Fifty Russian servicemen have been brought back from the territory controlled by Kiev as a result of the negotiation process, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Saturday.

"On October 29, as a result of the negotiation process, 50 Russian servicemen who were in mortal danger were returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime," the ministry said.

Ministry noted that the servicemen will be transported to Moscow, where they will undergo treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions of the Russian Defense Ministry.

Earlier on Saturday, acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin announced an exchange of prisoners with Ukraine under a 50 for 50 formula.

On October 17, as a result of the negotiation process, 110 Russian citizens were returned from the territory controlled by Ukraine, including 72 Russian sailors from civilian ships held since February by the Kiev regime.
