LPR militia reports eliminating about 70 Ukrainian militants in Donbass in past day

LUGANSK, October 25. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military suffered about 70 casualties in clashes with forces of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) in the Donbass area in the past day, Spokesman for the LPR People’s Militia Ivan Filiponenko reported on Tuesday.

"In the past 24 hours, the enemy sustained heavy losses in manpower and military equipment as a result of active offensive operations by LPR people’s militia forces. They eliminated up to 70 personnel, three tanks, one artillery gun, four armored personnel carriers and nine special motor vehicles," the press office of the LPR people’s militia quoted the spokesman as saying on its Telegram channel.

In the past day, LPR field engineers combed over 7 hectares of land for the presence of explosives in the areas of the settlements of Senkovo and Tetskoye, the spokesman said.
