DONETSK, October 20. /TASS/. The armed forces of Ukraine fired five NATO-standard 155-mm artillery rounds towards the Kuibyshevsky and Kievsky districts of Donetsk, the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes said on Thursday.

According to the mission’s Telegram channel, three shells were fired towards the Kuibyshevsky district at 23:49 on Wednesday and two - towards the Kievsky district at 23:52.

Earlier, a TASS correspondent reported that two blasts were heard in the city center of Donetsk on Wednesday night. Shortly after, plumes of smoke were seen rising from the Lenin Square. According to the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) territorial defense headquarters, the office of Donetsk’s Voroshilovsky district administration was hit by a Ukrainian shell.
