Over 40 people appeal to Russia in 24 hours asking for evacuation from Ukraine - top brass

More than 40 people have called Russian hotlines over the past 24 hours asking to be evacuated from Ukraine to Russia, the DPR and LPR and the territories controlled by the Russian army, head of Russia’s National Defense Control Center Mikhail Mizintsev said at a briefing on Saturday.

"The hotline of the interagency Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response, the federal bodies of the executive power, the subjects of the Russian Federation and various civic organizations over the past 24 hours have received 41 appeals with requests to be evacuated to Russia, to the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as to the areas of the Zaporozhye, Nikolaev, Kharkov and Kherson Regions controlled by the Russian Armed Forces," said Mizintsev who also heads Russia’s Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine.

According to the military official, the database has a total of 2,758,626 such appeals from 2,139 Ukrainian populated localities and the territories of the Donbass republics controlled by the Kiev regime.
