Ukrainian army uses kindergartens to deploy firing positions - Russian top brass

According to the military official, the residents are not allowed to leave their apartments

MOSCOW, June 25. /TASS/. Ukraine’s armed forces have set up sniper positions near a kindergarten in Konstantinovka in the DPR, nationalists set up arms depots at a kindergarten in Nikolaev, head of Russia’s National Defense Control Center Mikhail Mizintsev said on Saturday.

"In Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the units of the Ukrainian army set up a stronghold in the buildings of the kindergarten No. 15 (Slavyanskaya Street), deploying firing and sniper positions along the perimeter while the approaches to the building have been mined yet the local population intentionally had not been informed," said Mizintsev who also heads Russia’s Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine.

According to the military official, the militants have also set up warehouses with weapons, munitions and petrol and lubricant products on the premises of a kindergarten in Nikolaev and stationed large-caliber artillery weapons in a densely populated area. He emphasized that the residents are not allowed to leave their apartments.
