Houthis fire two ballistic missiles at Yemeni port of Mokha

No information on possible damage or casualties has been reported

DOHA, August 12. /TASS/. Yemen’s Houthi rebels from the Ansar Allah movement resumed shelling the port city of Mokha, firing ballistic missiles at it Al Arabiya reported, citing the Yemeni armed forces.

A military source told the channel that two ballistic missiles had been fired at the harbor. No information on possible damage or casualties has been reported so far.

On August 11, the Houthis said they had launched massive ballistic missile and drone strikes on Saudi forces’ positions near Mokha and in Marib Province. The rebels attacked the commercial vessel Tihama in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait the same day and then carried out a second strike during the rescue operation. At least six people were killed and another 10 injured in the attack.
