Putin signs law on Russia’s federal budget for 2024-2026

According to the document, federal budget revenues are projected at $393.8 bln in 2024

MOSCOW, November 27. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law on Russia’s federal budget for 2024 and the planning period 2025-2026.

The document was posted on the official web portal of legal information.

According to the document, federal budget revenues are projected at 35.065 trillion rubles ($393.8 bln) in 2024, 33.552 trillion rubles ($376.8 bln) in 2025 and 34.051 trillion rubles ($382.4 bln) in 2026. Expenses are expected to be 36.66 trillion rubles ($411.7 bln), 34.382 trillion rubles ($386.1 bln) and 35.587 trillion rubles ($399.6 bln) respectively.

The federal budget deficit is forecast to amount to 1.595 trillion rubles ($17.9 bln) in 2024, 0.83 trillion rubles ($9.3 bln) in 2025 and 1.536 trillion rubles ($17.2 bln) in 2026.

The upper limit of public external debt will be $64 billion (57.6 billion euros) as of January 1, 2025, $63.1 billion (56.3 billion euros) as of January 1, 2026, $61.2 billion (54.6 billion euros) as of January 1, 2027.

The inflation rate is projected to be 4.5% in 2024, 4% in 2025, and 4% in 2026.
