China’s Dalian lifts COVID-related import restrictions — Russian trade mission

The cold chain products are no longer required to be stored temporarily in a special warehouse

BEIJING, January 25. /TASS/. The port of Dalian, located in the Northeastern Chinese province of Liaoning, has canceled anti-epidemiological restrictions introduced at the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the Russian trade mission in China said on Wednesday.

"The Office of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Government of Dalian City notified the Russian trade mission in China that all the COVID-19 related restrictive measures in the Port of Dalian had been canceled and that product imports have returned to normal conditions effective before the start of the pandemic," the Trade Mission said.

The cold chain products are no longer required to be stored temporarily in a special warehouse, according to the notice. The requirement to furnish certificates of product testing for nucleic acids and disinfection during carriage and sales was canceled.

The market control and regulation of Qingdao, another important port in Eastern China, has also announced that the requirement to provide these three certificates for cold chain products has been eliminated.
