MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. Turkey recognizes the insurance certificate of Russian companies for marine transportation, though India and China honor them but not completely, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Transport Alexander Poshivay told reporters.

"Yes," the official said, answering a question from reporters. "India and China recognize [them] largely, but not completely," Poshivay noted.

Ankara will demand a letter of confirmation from insurers starting on December 1 to provide P&I insurance for ships, required to cover liability in such cases as damages to third parties, environment or cargo, as well as penalties and related fees during the operations of ships.
