Japan, US conduct joint air force exercises with B-52 bombers

The Japanese side engaged 12 F-15 fighters and 4 F-2 fighters, while the American side used two B-52 strategic bombers

TOKYO, March 31. /TASS/. Japanese and US Air Forces held joint drills with the participation of US-made B-52 strategic bombers, the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force command reported on Friday.

Tactical cooperation was worked out during the drill. It was held on March 30 in the skies over the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea.

The Japanese side engaged 12 F-15 fighters and 4 F-2 fighters, while the American side used two B-52 strategic bombers.
