KIEV, February 12. /TASS/. President Petro Poroshenko of Ukraine had a meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron on the sidelines of the EU summit in Brussels to discuss cooperation in defense and related technologies, the press service of the Ukrainian president said on Thursday.
The report said they discussed cooperation in defense and related technologies between Ukraine and Britain as well as macroeconomic aid for conducting efficient reforms.
The sides also mentioned the agreement on ceasefire in war-torn eastern Ukraine signed earlier in day by Poroshenko and the leaders of Russia, Germany and France at a conference in Minsk, and also on a further coordination of steps in case the Minsk agreement fails to deliver.
