SEOUL, April 14. /TASS/. North Korea launched several surface-to-ship cruise missiles into the Sea of Japan, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said on Tuesday.
According to the South Korean military, the missiles, which were fired from areas near the North Korean city of Munchon on Tuesday morning, flew about 150 kilometers and fell into the sea.
"The military is closely monitoring the situation for possible additional launches, while maintaining a readiness posture," the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said, as cited by the Yonhap news agency.
