Center rebroadcasting Russian radio blown up in Transnistria, Interior Ministry says

Bomb technicians and police are working at the scene now

CHISINAU, April 26. /TASS/. Unidentified people on Tuesday blew up a regional center that has been rebroadcasting Russian radio in the unrecognized republic of Transnistria.

"The two most powerful antennae were destroyed. Both of them were used for rebroadcasting Russian radio. None of the radio center employees or locals was injured," the press service of the Interior Ministry said.

Two blasts exploded at 06:40 and 07:05 Moscow time, the Ministry reported. Bomb technicians and police are working at the scene now.

The TV and radio center located in Mayak, one of the largest in Europe, served to rebroadcast Voice of Russia radio programs.
