Russia to study BP experience in using best technologies for subsoil management — minister

Rosneft’s representatives were tasked to prepare discussion of this topic at the level of the Natural Resources Ministry

MOSCOW, April 28. /TASS/. Application of the best available technologies (BAT) in subsoil management was discussed with BP’s Vice President Liz Rogers, Russian Minister of Natural Resources Sergei Donskoi said on Thursday.

"We met. Rosneft’s representatives were there, who gave assessment to BP’s proposals and statements in respect of application of the best technologies. They [BP-TASS] had international experience and they were able to present such experience," the Minister said.

Rosneft’s representatives were tasked to prepare discussion of this topic at the level of the Natural Resources Ministry, Donskoi added.
