The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and the Russia-Bangladesh Business Council have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of the Russia-Bangladesh Business Dialogue conference in Dhaka, the event’s organizers told TASS.
"The memorandum is aimed at creating a favorable business environment, exchanging analytical information on markets, and organizing joint trade exhibitions, business missions, and investment forums," said the Federation’s spokesman Emtiaz Hasan Khan.
At the conference, "representatives of business communities from both countries emphasized the need to remove trade barriers in order to deepen bilateral economic relations," he said.
Welcoming the participants, FBCCI chief Fazlul Hoque noted that changing global conditions are opening up significant commercial opportunities for both countries, and called for joint efforts to overcome existing operational barriers.
