BERLIN, February 10. /TASS/. The Olaf Scholz government has approved exports of military products to Ukraine worth 14.8 billion euro, according to an inquiry from the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance - Reason and Justice (BSW) parliamentary group that was posted on the Bundestag website.
Thus, as of December 19, 2024, the government approved permits for supplies of defense products to a sum of 39 billion euro, with Ukraine being topping the list of recipients. It is followed by Egypt, with permits for military exports worth 4.3 billion euro. The Netherlands and Singapore share the third place (around 2.06 euro each).
Germany is the second largest weapons supplier to Ukraine after the United States. Germany's 2025 draft budgetary plan envisaged military support for Ukraine to a sum of around 4 billion euro, or half as much as in 2024.
