Sber intends to force bankruptcy of Dell’s division in Russia

The Dell subsidiary has been present in Russia since mid-2007

MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. Sber expressed its intention to apply to the court to declare Dell LLC, the Russian division of Dell, one of the leading computer manufacturers in the world, bankrupt, the bank said in a statement posted on the Fedresurs portal.

"Sberbank PJSC notifies of its intention to apply to the arbitration court to declare Dell LLC insolvent (bankrupt), the statement says. Sber notes that the Russian legal entity Dell has signs of bankruptcy.

The press service of Sberbank told TASS that the Moscow Arbitration Court previously fully satisfied Sberbank's demands for debt collection from Dell LLC. However, the company did not fulfill its obligations on time.

The Dell subsidiary has been present in Russia since mid-2007. At the end of August 2022, the manufacturer announced that it had finally left Russia, the entire staff was laid off, and deliveries were suspended in February. Since leaving the country, Dell has had litigation, including with one of the structures of Russia’s Transport Ministry.
