Limonov, Dobrokhotov detained for unauthorized action in Moscow

MOSCOW, December 4 (Itar-Tass) —— The Moscow police department confirmed the report that the leader of the We opposition movement Roman Dobrokhotov was detained on the Triumfalnaya Square in downtown Moscow on Sunday.

“Dobrokhotov produced the document, which did not identify him as a journalist and did not confirm his media mission, therefore, he was detained for further investigation,” the press service of the Moscow police department told Itar-Tass.

“We do not have the documents that he performed a media mission,” the press service said.

Along with Dobrokhotov the leader of the opposition Other Russia movement Eduard Limonov was also detained on the Triumfalnaya Square.

The police warned that the action is illegal and was not authorized by the authorities. However, the protesters ignored the warning.

The police detained several active participants in the action. The situation on the Triumfalnaya Square is calm and is under control of police.
