Russian Anti-Doping Agency reports 14 suspected doping violations in November

The overall figure for eleven months of this year currently stands at 141

MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. The Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) identified 14 suspected violations of anti-doping rules in November, a RUSADA spokesperson told TASS.

"In November 2023, RUSADA reported 14 cases of possible violations of anti-doping rules," she said.

According to TASS data, RUSADA earlier reported 10 suspected violations of anti-doping regulations in January; 25 cases in February; 13 cases in March; 16 cases in April; 21 cases in May; six cases in June; eight cases in July; six cases in August, nine cases in September; 13 and cases in October. With the reported figure of 14 suspected violations last month the overall figure for eleven months of this year currently stands at 141, or more than throughout last year, when RUSADA reported 135 potential violations by Russian athletes.

RUSADA Director General Veronika Loginova told TASS earlier that most of the identified violations involved the use of performance enhancing drugs.
