ROME, April 7. /TASS/. An exhibition on the occasion of the 220th anniversary of birth of famous Russian composer Mikhail Glinka (1804-1857) was opened in the Russian House in Rome.
The exposition features author’s manuscripts, concert programs, portraits of musicians from the immediate circle of the composer and lithographical works of the 19th century with views of cities visited by the composer.
Glinka lived in Italy from 1830 to 1833.
