Skepticism regarding support for Ukraine grows in EU — Russian delegation in Vienna

Yuliya Zhdanova, head of the Russian delegation, said the corrupt nature of the Kiev regime is now evident to everyone

VIENNA, October 21. /TASS/. Skepticism over continued support for Ukraine is growing among Western countries, Yuliya Zhdanova, head of the Russian delegation to the Vienna negotiations on military security and arms control, said.

"Vladimir Zelensky’s recent visit to London is highly telling. The Ukrainians themselves made no secret of its 'emergency' nature. The reason is clear: skepticism about the feasibility of continued support for Ukraine is growing among European countries. After all, the corrupt nature of the regime is now evident to everyone," she said during a session of the OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation. TASS has obtained a transcript of her remarks.

Zhdanova added that Western representatives who support Zelensky are reluctant to discuss the issue openly at the official level because, as she put it, "they themselves nurtured this hydra."
