MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. Russia’s envoy to international organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov on Tuesday said Western countries showed no appropriate reaction to the ongoing shelling of the Kakhovskaya hydropower plant by Ukraine.
"There’s no appropriate reaction," he said on Rossiya-24 television, when asked if there was any response.
The envoy said Russia at the IAEA conference brought up the issue of Ukrainian sabotage trying to disrupt energy supply to the Kursk NPP.
"But representatives of the West usually either keep silent or say it’s all red propaganda, Russian disinformation. That’s standard reaction to that type of information," he said.
Vladimir Saldo, acting governor of the Kherson Region, on October 18 said that civilians will be relocated from the western bank of the Dnieper River to the eastern bank due to the risk of flooding in the event that Ukrainian forces strike the Kakhovskaya HPP.
