Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport has confirmed that it had received anonymous bomb threats

MOSCOW, January 14./TASS/. Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport has confirmed that it had received anonymous bomb threats, and stepped up security measures in response, a source from the international airport’s press service told TASS on Monday.

Earlier, a source from emergency services told TASS that an unidentified man had reported to the police that explosive devices had allegedly been planted at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky Airports.

"Standard security procedures are outlined in case of anonymous threats," the Domodedovo airport’s press service said. "This incident is not an exception. Extra indispensable measures to ensure security were taken in cooperation with security agencies after the information had surfaced," the press service said.
