MOSCOW, February 10. /TASS/. Kamaz took 27% of the heavy trucks market in Russia in January 2025, according to the Russian State Automobile Inspectorate, the company said on its Telegram channel.
"According to the data of the State Automobile Inspectorate on the registration of new trucks over 14 tons in January 2025, Kamaz vehicles maintained their leadership in sales and took 27% of the market," the statement said.
Over this period, 5,086 trucks were registered, including 1,374 Kamaz. In November and December, Kamaz's share was 24% and 26%, respectively.
"It is also worth noting that Kamaz is the only company on the market of trucks over 14 tons that showed sales growth compared to January 2024. Kamaz's growth was 4%, while the market declined by 30%," the company said.
