Russia, Mozambique to sign economic cooperation program, says ministry

During the meeting the parties discussed the current state of trade-economic cooperation

MOSCOW, November 18. /TASS/. Russia and Mozambique will sign a program for economic and scientific-technical cooperation in 2023-2026, according to a statement released by Russia’s Economic Development Ministry on Friday following a meeting of the intergovernmental commission between the two countries on economic and scientific-technical cooperation.

"Following the meeting it was decided to develop a program for economic and scientific-technical cooperation between Russia and Mozambique in 2023-2026 shortly," the statement reads.

During the meeting the parties discussed the current state of trade-economic cooperation, as well as outlined the ways of further cooperation in the areas of energy, geology, industry, agriculture, education, sports and information-communication technologies.
