MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. Shell has said one of Russian entities stopped delivering LNG under a long-term contract to the oil and gas company in Q3 2022.
"Shell holds two long-term LNG offtake contracts with Russian entities, accounted for as regular sales and purchase contracts. The counterparty in one of these contracts stopped delivering cargos to Shell in the third quarter 2022," the company said in its quarterly financial report on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Shell has fully stopped spot purchases of Russian LNG.
Earlier, the company said it would also stop long-term purchases of Russian oil from third parties, apart from two contracts with a small independent producer, by the end of this year.
