Bakytzhan Sagintayev is appointed Kazakhstan’s new prime minister

ASTANA, September 9. /TASS/. Kazakhstan’s president Nursultan Nazarbayev has appointed Bakytzhan Sagintayev the country’s new prime minister, as follows form a decree published on the presidential website on Friday.

Nazarbayev made a number of government reshuffles on September 8.

Prime Minister Karim Masimov was dismissed to be appointed chief of the National Security Committee and First Deputy Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev promoted to acting prime minister.
