PARIS, July 19. /TASS/. French police have confirmed the death of one more Russian citizen in the Bastille Day truck attack in Nice, Russian Consul General Sergei Molchanov told TASS on Tuesday.

"The French police have confirmed the death of Alina Bogdanova who was wounded in the terrorist attack. Thus, the terrorist attack in Nice has claimed the lives of two Russian women. Other Russians who were wounded in the attack are in hospitals," the diplomat said.
Earlier, France’s police confirmed the death of Russian citizen Viktoria Savchenko.
France’s authorities also confirmed the death of the wife of a Russian national.
"The French side has confirmed the death of the wife of a Russian national. So far, we don’t know whether she was a Russian citizen. All we know is that her husband had a Russian passport. As for her, she had the Estonian passport. Her son has not yet confirmed her possible Russian citizenship," the diplomat said.
On Thursday night, a truck plowed at full tilt into the crowd on the Promenade des Anglais when thousands of people were about to go away after the festive fireworks on the occasions of Bastille Day. A total of 84 people died and more than 200 others were wounded, many of them severely. The truck driver was shot dead by the police in an attempt to stop the truck.
