WASHINGTON, October 23. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump has said that Washington would monitor how the situation around Ukraine unfolds, choosing not to agree with a suggestion that Russia does not want peace.
Journalists at the White House asked the head of state to comment on Vladimir Zelensky’s statement that the strikes against Ukraine proved that Moscow did not want peace. "We’ll see how it works out. That’s been happening a lot," Trump said.
Russia’s Defense Ministry has said that Russian troops delivered an attack last night on the Antonov aircraft plant in Kiev where drones and FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles were assembled. Transport infrastructure facilities in the Ukrainian capital, as well as port infrastructure in the Odessa Region and vessels used by the Ukrainian army, were hit in a massive strike.
