Houthis call on airlines to avoid Saudi Arabia’s airspace

The coordination center for humanitarian operations controlled by the Houthis from the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah said the kingdom's airspace "will become a theater of military operations" for the rebel forces

DOHA, October 5. /TASS/. The coordination center for humanitarian operations controlled by the Houthis from the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah has called on airlines to avoid Saudi Arabia’s airspace.

"As a result of Saudi aggression against our country using aviation, and to ensure the safety of civil aviation and save lives, the coordination center for humanitarian operations is issuing a warning to all airlines operating in Saudi Arabia’s airspace, as it is unsafe," it said in a statement published by the SABA agency, which is controlled by Ansar Allah.

The center said the kingdom's airspace "will become a theater of military operations" for the rebel forces. "The Republic of Yemen (referring to Houthis - TASS) disclaims responsibility after this statement," the statement says.
