OSCE mission in Moldova condemns destabilization attempts in Transnistria

The misson calls on all sides to maintain calm and refrain from any action, which could undermine trust and stability in the region

VIENNA, April 26. /TASS/. The OSCE mission in Moldova said on Tuesday that it condemns any attempts at destabilization in unrecognized Transnistria and cautions everybody against any actions that might undermine stability on either side of the Dniester River.

"The OSCE mission in Moldova condemns all attempts to destabilize the situation in the security zone and Transnistria and calls on all sides to maintain calm and refrain from any action, which could undermine trust and stability on both sides of the Dniester River," the mission tweeted. "The Mission keeps regular contacts with relevant counterparts, closely monitors the developments within its mandate and carefully evaluates the elements of the incidents."

On Tuesday, unidentified attackers blew up two antennas of a regional radio center in the village of Mayak, the Grigoriopol District of Transnistria. And on Monday, the building of the unrecognized republic’s State Security Ministry was attacked with grenade launchers. In both cases there were no casualties.
