Colombian journalist says it is important to explain who is 'driving' conflict in Donbass

LUGANSK, October 1. /TASS/. Colombians do not understand who the parties to the conflict in Donbass are or who is pushing the continuation of hostilities. This needs to be explained, Colombian journalist Diana Carolina Alfonso Perilla told TASS.

"It is necessary to explain to Colombians, who, generally speaking, do not always understand who the parties to the conflict are here and who is really driving this war. And the second point is that the strength of the people of Donbass is rarely emphasized. That is, their inner core, the way they view their history and identity. This is very important, and it is something that is usually left out," she said.

Earlier, it was reported that representatives of 13 foreign media outlets from 11 countries had visited the LPR. The journalists came to the region to gather information about events unfolding in Donbass and report on them to their fellow citizens.
