Russia, Bangladesh sign memorandum on cultural cooperation

The memorandum was signed by the ministries of culture of the Russian Federation and Bangladesh on the sidelines of the 12th St. Petersburg International United Cultures Forum

NEW DELHI, September 25. /TASS/. Russia and Bangladesh have signed a memorandum of understanding on cultural cooperation, the Bangladeshi news agency UNB reported.

The memorandum was signed by the ministries of culture of the Russian Federation and Bangladesh on the sidelines of the 12th St. Petersburg International United Cultures Forum.

The agreement covers cultural exchange, preservation of cultural heritage, museum studies, archaeology, the arts, and creative industries. The document also emphasizes the importance of further strengthening long-standing friendly relations between Bangladesh and Russia through expanded cultural ties.

The St. Petersburg International United Cultures Forum runs from September 24 to 26 under the main theme "United Cultures - Shared Values." The event features 10 thematic sections.
