MOSCOW, May 27. /ITAR-TASS/. The authorities of South Sudan actively contribute to strengthening cooperation with Russia, the country’s Foreign Minister Barnaba Marial Benjamin said on Tuesday.
The top diplomat said the Russian Embassy would shortly be opened in Juba, adding that Russia already had its envoy in the republic.
Next year, a special ministerial-level committee responsible for cooperation between the two countries would be formed, he said. “Work continues at the moment on three different cooperation agreements,” the foreign minister added.
