Over the past 24 hours, 1,559 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Moscow

MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. Moscow’s COVID-19 death toll rose by 58 in the last 24 hours, a new record low since November 1, while the total number of deaths hit 14,348, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told TASS on Sunday.

Over the past 24 hours, 1,559 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Moscow. Since the start of the pandemic, the COVID-19 total case tally in the capital has reached 956,178.

According to the crisis center, the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases stood at 0.16%. A day earlier, 1,963 cases were recorded. Some 2,089 patients were discharged from Moscow’s hospitals over the past day, whereas a total of 869,869 people have recovered. Currently, as many as 71,961 patients are still receiving treatment in Russia’s capital.
