MOSCOW, July 1. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov and German Ambassador to Russia Rudiger von Fritsch have discussed the need to pool efforts in the fight against terrorism in the wake of the Istanbul airport attack, the Russian Foreign Ministry has reported.
"The German diplomat has been informed in detail about Russia’s stance on the tragedy at the Istanbul airport with an emphasis on the need for further concerted effort in the fight against a common terrorist threat," the ministry said.
The two diplomats also discussed the pressing issues of the Russian-German and multilateral cooperation in the fight against international terrorism, above all, in the light of measures taken by the world community to resolve the crises in Syria and Afghanistan."
