West overrepresented in UN Security Council — Russian mission

It is proved by the vote on holding a UN Security Council meeting, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the NATO aggression against Yugoslavia, Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative Dmitry Polyansky said

UNITED NATIONS, March 28. /TASS/. The vote on holding a UN Security Council meeting, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the NATO aggression against Yugoslavia proves that Western states are overrepresented in this body, Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative Dmitry Polyansky said.

"The today’s vote confirmed the idea that we have been promoting within the context of the Security Council reform regarding the obvious overrepresentation of Western states in the council. I think, it is hard to imagine a better illustration that what has happened today," he said.
